Man Tried To Use Movie Money At Wawa: South Brunswick PD

If you want to eat a hoagie from Wawa, you have to pay with real money.

A fake $100 bill was used at Wawa, police said.

That's the lesson James Leonard, a 41-year-old South Brunswick man learned after he was arrested by police for passing multiple fake $100 bills at a nearby Wawa, officers said on Twitter on Sunday, Jan. 7.

Leonard was charged with theft by deception and uttering a forged document, police said. He was released on a summons, police said.
